Here's what our couples have to say about Trish!
Looking for an Intuitive Dance Instructor? Look no further….. My husband and I were married in April 2017. Tricia choreographed the most fitting first dance to Mumford and Sons (when they were called the Wedding Band) “She Said Yes”. As each lesson went by Tricia tailored the dance to match our abilities (which were novice at best); the end product was complete genius and easy for us to execute. Our dance started off with a slightly more traditional back and forth and then BOOM – literally exploded and electrified the reception hall. The energy in the room was palpable as we performed what we had practiced. To quote the lead singer of our wedding band – The McLean Avenue band: “Now I’ve seen a lot of first dances but THAT was the best first dance I’ve ever seen!!” We were so proud of what Tricia had put together and so excited to do our best. Looking back on it now – preparing for that dance was the one thing that helped bring us together during the chaos of the wedding planning process. I wouldn’t change a thing about that day and so glad that we had Tricia on our wedding team!!

Trish is an amazing teacher. She really loves dance and that shows in how she teaches. She is extremely patient and thoughtful. Her easy going personality was a pleasure to work with. She helped us develop a dance that fit our talent levels. She put zero pressure on us and made sure we were 100% comfortable with the dance at all times. She worked with us around our hectic schedules and was always available to answer any questions. I highly recommend her and I would take dance lessons with her again in the future.

My husband and I were not sure what we wanted to do for our first dance, all we knew was that we didn't want to be the couple up there swaying and counting the seconds until others joined us or the song ended. We had picked our song and came across Ballroom Expressions from a search on the Knot. As soon as I spoke to Trish on the phone to book our first dance lesson, I knew she was going to be so much fun to work with and create the perfect first dance for us. We had a total of 6 lessons and during every one of them, we felt how dedicated and genuinely excited Trish was in making our dance special to us as a couple. We always ended the lessons feeling so accomplished and surprised at how fast they flew by! We had a blast working with her and highly recommend her lessons if you are looking for the most wonderful teacher and dance all in one. I'm already trying to plan when else we can do a choreographed dance! Thank you again Trish!!

FAQ
Helpful Info about our Studio
Here are answers to questions most couples want to know about wedding dance lessons. If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
WHEN SHOULD WE BEGIN PREPARING OUR WEDDING DANCE?
We recommend that you start your lessons a minimum of 3 months before the big day. With so many things going on before the wedding, you don't want to wait until the last minute and cause any extra stress. Most couples need a minimum of 5 lessons for their dance, but many feel much more comfortable with around 10 lessons.
WHAT SONG SHOULD WE USE?
Most couples choose a song which has special meaning for them. We will listen to your song and determine what type of dance goes best depending on the rhythm and tempo. Whether its a foxtrot, swing, or slow dance, we will make sure you look great at your wedding! It is also recommended that your song is not longer than 3 minutes long.
HOW LONG ARE THE LESSONS?
Lessons are 1 hour. There is also an option for a 90 minute lesson. The longer the lesson, the greater the savings!
WHERE ARE THE LESSONS HELD?
There are 2 locations which you may choose from depending which is most convenient for you.
In Westchester, New York, lessons are offered at 2 Keeler Lane in North Salem at the Union Hall.
We also teach in Norwalk, Connecticut at 15 Cross Street in Norwalk at Dance Dimensions.

Regardless of the location, you will always have a private studio room for your lesson! You will not share the space with other other students. This creates an ideal learning environment for you and we will be able to practice to your own wedding song throughout the entire lesson.
